The just concluded Kerala Assembly elections seen a fierce battle in the virtual world using social networking. The BJP enthusiasts spread across the globe participated in the campaign very actively as they found it fit to fight after the emergence of BJP as a viable alternative in the Left-Right infested arena of Kerala politics. While the political fortunes of the Left, the Right and the NDA combine is already sealed in the ballot boxes on the 16th, all the parties in the southern tip of the continent is an equally worried lot on their prospects especially after the Exit Polls predicted a Left surge.
An open 'letter of thanks' to all those who participated, supported and encouraged us in the just concluded web battle, while awaiting the results on the 19th.
“First they ignore you, then they ridicule you,
then they fight you, and then you win.”
― Mahatma Gandhi.
Relax, repose and reflect. it’s useless to discuss on a set of imaginary results predicted by the exit poll pundits. Even if their argument is taken for face value, BJP winning a few seats is in no way a mean task. Especially in view the party was a non-entity in Kerala's political arena until a few years back. So, for the dedicated party workers, it’s no time to worry, instead have a sigh of relief and relax. Especially after months of toil and hard work, we all deserve to unnerve and have a good night’s sleep. The pessimists may have their own reasons to be reassured and restless though. Let them be on!
Social media and modern communication gadgets being the trendsetter mass communication tool of the day, have played vital role in the electoral fortunes of political outfits worldwide. It's said that the social networks has the capacity of toppling existing ones and creating new Govts. The LS elections in 2014 is a strong example to rebut this fact. Facebook and Twitter accounts were extensively used then, in inspiring the masses and spreading the message across platforms, highlighting the importance of installing a Nationalist Govt under Narendra Modi in the Centre, when the corrupt UPA2 shamed every Indian with their anti-national overtures.
So far so good, we all have played our role fairly well in the historical event which successfully concluded this evening. I hope we have all done our part of the job extremely well. Luckily all the prevalent conditions in the State were most conducive for a favorable swing towards the NDA side. We're still hopeful, so wait till the 19th when the actual results are out. Till then just relax and take no worries. We will continue our crusade and will work out a new strategy on the next course of action depending upon the ground reality and the poll outcome. As our guiding spirit as always continues to be the same "Arise, Awake, And Stop Not Till The Goal Is Reached!".
I take this opportunity also to express my sincere thanks and affection to each and every party-sympathizers who kept us encouraged throughout the prolonged campaign period with their valued 'Likes' 'Shares' and 'Comments'. Hope you will all continue to guide, support and patronise our efforts in the larger interest of our society.
Wish everyone good luck!
Thanking you all once again, Vande Mataram!
Jai Hind!
